Merry Christmas! As St. Athanasius once wrote, “The Word of the Father, so great and so high… has been manifested in a human body for this reason only, out of the love and goodness of the Father, for the salvation of man.” Praise God for his loving goodness! Praise God that our Savior is born!
As we end another year on the high note of our Savior’s birth, I am filled with gratitude. God’s work at Trinity Lakeside is not loud and large but quietly faithful. We’re not building an arena or a three-story parking garage. Rather, God is building a people of Christ’s presence and peace. A prayerful, worshipful, thoughtful people who love Jesus and who care about your soul. He has called us to be both sanctuary of rest for the weary and hospital for the wounded, and we embrace it as companions on the journey of healing in Christ.
Thank you for your presence and companionship in this slow and sometimes hidden work of God. Thank you for your prayers and thank you for your financial support. If you would like to give an end-of-year donation, you can do so through the Give page of our website.
We look forward to seeing you at Trinity Lakeside Abbey in 2024!
